They are all soo looking forward to Christmas, we have been busy starting to get a little festive around here and baking cookies and a few Christmas Crafts :)

I have also finished up for the year with my Crochet, I have had such a busy build up to Christmas and really need to take some time to enjoy Christmas with my kids and family, so that means I will also get lots more scrapping done too :)

Wow already 200, that came up quickly!!!

While I have been busy Crocheting, I have also been busy scrapbooking and ghee it feels good again :) Yesterday I went to Paperific at the Show Grounds in Melbourne and it was fantastic. I got soo much inspiration and spent way too much...lol

This afternoon I found my mojo and had a go at doing this months Scrap The Boys Challenge, and what a fantastic Challenge it was, you have to create a LO using this photo as inspiration:

Well it's almost been 2 months since I last blogged, I cab't quite believe how quickly this year is going....... Baby Patrick is almost 7 months old and it felt like last week he was a New Born........ :(

The reason I have been a little slack on my blog is that I have been very busy, with Family, Kids and Crocheting. I have been lucky enough to be asked to make a very large order for a new Furniture shop opening up in Sydney very soon.

Though in between Orders I have been making a few little things for the shop. I thought I would try and make some baby blankets and see how they go up in the shop and to my surprise I have old one, so I think I might make a few more up in between Orders and when I have a lull between orders.

Oh wow how cold has it been down here in Victoria.......It's frezzing!

I've been busy making up some Crochet blankets, though not finished yet I wanted to see if they would sell in my Etsy or MadeIt shops I'm going to be making them about 120 cms x 120cms........

I have also made a cute little jumper for Patrick which I will be taking custom orders for, as there quick to make, and just soo cute!!! What do you think???

Well Achie's back at school starting Term 2 now, so it's time get get back into the groove of things around here. I have been feeling soo overwhelmed the past few weeks with the kids home, orders keep coming in and trying to spend the holidays catching up with friends and family........I don't think I sat down once the whole 2 weeks.....lol

So now that I have gotten on top of all the orders and were getting back to our routine I think I might take a little break from the crochet, spend a little time scrapbooking, relaxing and just hanging with my boys and then slowly get back into crochet.

Dose anyone else ever feel like they just need to take a break for a little while to re-charge???

Oh wow I can't believe how time has quickly passes, Achlan our oldest has just had his last day of Kinder (sob sob) it feels like yesterday he was a baby bringing him home from the hospital and now he's starting School next year :(

I have to say though I am such a proud Mum, he has grown into such a lovely young man and I really look forward to watching him grow!

So over the next couple of weeks (while waiting for bubs to arrive) I think a lot of scrapbooking need to be done!!!!

Oh wow I still can't believe it's June.....Where has the time gone before we know it we will be getting ready for Christmas......Scary!

The last few months I have been finding it really hard to balance everything with business, house, kids and life, So I have decided to take a little break from business to take the pressure off and hopefully the mojo will follow.........

So I will be spending the next few month organizing and reorganizing my crafty bit's also try a few new things to help get those creative juices flowing again, I just can't seem to find them lately!

Finding Inspiration

Over the past couple of months I have been hitting a brick wall with the creativity side. So I have been taking some time out.
I have been coming across so much inspiration the last few days and spending a lot of time blog hopping, flicker surfing and checking out Facebook Fan pages and I finally think I am starting to find that spark.

I'm loving the colors Salmon and Purple(though not together...lol) at the moment and that I think is where I will start.

So fingers crossed some action will be happening soon, especially with the weather cooling down it feels like the perfect time to get back to creating..........

I can't believe it has been a month since I last Blogged.......Crazy how quickly this year is going already!

I have been working hard trying to get ready for the Markets but I think I have finally crashed and burned. so I have decided not to do many Markets this year. When my babies are older and off to school I know I will be able to sit down and work harder on things...IYKWIM???

Well yesterday was Australia Day one of my favorite Holidays of the Year!, The weather was perfect and the lamb chops were beautiful! I hope that everyone had a wonderful day!

So far I have had a big start to the Year, which has been fantastic and very flattering. I am now working on stocking up, I ordered 100 ring bases and they arrived last week so having heaps of fun using my new colors and making some very pretty rings.

I was wondering which photo you liked better??? The ring by itself or on the fake hand???

Wow Can't believe Achlan will be back at Kinder soon, in a way I will be happy to get the kids back into there normal routine but then on the other had I like not having to rush around and just enjoy the day with the boys. Here's a really cute pic I took of them today with all 3 in one shoot :)

Sorry I haven't been updating my blog very much since the New Year, I have been swamped with orders that I am making my way through, once I have them finished I will be starting to stick up for the Markets and won't be taking any large custom orders but please feel free to email me if your wanting to place an order and I can let you know how long it would be.

So far this year my 2 oldest boys have become a year older, Achlan has turned 5 and Thomas is now 3, gee it has gone soo fast the last 5 years, but it has also been the best 5 years of my life, being a mum!

Arrrrrrgh Chicken Pox

We woke up on Thursday to find Achlan very spotty, head to toe with the Chicken Pox, the first thing he said to me was "Mum I think I sang Rudoff the Red Nose Raindeer too much yesterday" I had to laugh it was soo cute! It now looks like there satrting to go away so hopfull by the end of the wee we will be Chicken Pox free :)

Well Yesterday was my first ever Market and it was fantastic!

I made a few sales and also made some wonderful contacts, It was also really good to get the experiance of selling face to face so I will defently be doing it again! :)

Yesterday my biggerst seller would of had to of been the Christmas Stars I made sure I had made plenty of them and I still have quite a few left, so I have popped them up in my shops.

Silly me forgot to take a photo of the store but I will be settin things up again real soon so I will make sure I have my Camera :)

Oh wow where has the year gone, it's now December, we have our Christmas lights up and going to put the tree up very soon. The boys are starting to get really excited that Santa will be here soon. I love Christmas and everything about it, it is such a magical time :)

I have just finished starching and ironing 300 Christmas Stars, some for orders and others for the up coming market this weekend. This weekend will be my first ever market, I am a tad nervous.....lol

Wow soo much has been happening over the past few weeks with Boutique Creations:

Boutique Creations is now on http://www.boutiquecreations.com.auYah I have finally brought the domain name :)
I am doing my first ever market on the 6th of December at the Mulgrave Farmers Market which is very exciting but I'm soo nervous.
I also got my small business loan approved which means I can really start to put the few changes in place!

Over the next few weeks I will be making a few changes to my online shop, jazz it up a bit. If anyone know someone that is any good with CSS codes pleas let me know!

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, it seems the business changes that are about to happen have taken over........in a good way though! I have already got some wonderful feedback from some of the designers.

I have some wonderful news! I have been asked to hold a small stall at next years Stitches n Craft Show in Melbourne and I have accepted. I have a lot of work to get done between now and then but I'm really excited :)

I'm sure most of you that know me wouldn't disagree with that.....lol But I do really need some peoples help.

I am wanting to display some of my crochet appliqué's on finished products, but I just have the time to crochet and sew etc..... So I am looking for some crafters that I can send some off to and that will be willing to place my appliqué onto you finished product (can be anything clothing, bags, scrapbooking LO's etc....) and send me a photo to use as an example. All credit will be given, shop link, blog link etc...And you also get to choose what colour appliqués you would like and they are yours to keep.

Were is it going??? Well I'm not to sure at the moment...... I am in the process of giving it a face-lift! I really feel it needs a brighten and soften up a bit. So I have been busy trying to work all that out! So I should have the new Graphics up soon!

I have alo been working hard on some new Applicque's which I have just put up in my shop.

Those they don't already know, yesterday was my birthday!

I had such a wonderful day, my husband took me out for a beautiful lunch and then I went shopping and got some new scrapbooking supplies, Yah!

And to top it off the Saints Won (My AFL Footy Team) so that means were in the Grand Final, and it will only be the second time I have ever seen them in a grand final. So very excited :) hehehehe

Arghhh, I don't have any new photo's this time.......sorry!

After a weekend of not doing anything, which I think was good for me! I think I am now recharged!
Sometimes I feel it just nice to step back for a bit and focus om somethine else????

So anyway I did some scrapbooking, Yah! I decided to join in the Forever Always Cyber Crop it was soo much fun and inspiration, here's 2 of the Challenges I completed:

We also went down to a Cousins Birthday party which was wonderful the boys had a ball!

So this week I plan on getting a few things done, I want to get a few more brooches up and also a few more bookmarks :)

New Buntings

I just finished making this really cute bunting for a little girls room, I LOVE the crochet hearts so thought I might also do some in blues for my boys room! They do look really sweet IRL :)

I also had heaps of fun taking some pics of Liam today, he was in a real smiley mood so I took advantage of it :)

He's really starting to show a beautiful personality, and he just LOVES playing with his Big Brothers Achlan and Thomas!

A Creative Sunday

Well yesterday I actually got something done, Yah!

I created two sets of Coasters in my Favourite Colour combo at the moment Blue and Cream, and also another Card Clutch! Shop

I really need to get lots more done so I have enought stock on hand for the Craft Market and also for the upcoming Christmas :)

Well I have finished the Christmas Stars last night so I decied to make up another set of the Coasters as I have sold all the other ones I have made! So these Coasters have been crocheted out of a beautiful Robbins Eggg Blue with a beautiful Blue Boarder!

I have just made a start on a order for 120 Christmas Stars, last year they sold really well and sold over 500 so really hoping to beat that this year! After I finish this order I will be making a start on stars for my shop.

Oh wow we have been having such beautiful weather the past few dat which is nice! It really makes you want to get things done, so I painted my white desk and now looks nice and freash, though I still have a few finishing touches then I will take a piccie :)
Also the garden is looking fantastic, I now LOVE looking out at it :)

I am also getting ready for my fist Craft market so I though I would just start off with the brooches and rings and see how I go, its not till another 3 weeks but really want to get things looking good :)

I had a wonderful Facebook Fan Page for Boutique Creations with almost 400 fans and had put a lot of work into getting it set up. And then it just Vanished.................All thathard work for nothing, so I'm a very sad girl today having to start all over again.....

Just an update

Hoping to get some playtime this afternoon when the boys are sleeping, I have soo much I want to do, but I have so much I need to do lol (housework etc...lol)

I did managed to create a little Mobile Phone Charm yesterday (IÍI take a piccie soon), its really quite sweet. So hoping to be able to work on that a bit more to get it just right and maybe introduce them into the shop :)

But other than doing lots of baking, not much else seems to be getting done........

Wow Liam is now just over 9 months old and hes talking to me, as I walk in the room he looks up at me and say "Mama" it so sweet :)

Little update on the Family

Wow where has the time gone???
Liam is now 9 months, I just feel like I have blinked, he is growing o quickly! Hes so beautiful though, he now crawling and sitting all by himself and his favorite word is Mamamama, its so sweet!

Thomas, is becoming very chatty and picking up on most word very quickly and his speech is really coming along. I think having him at Day care once a week has really made a huge difference to him he is soo much more confident with-in himself! He is now 2 1/2 is it totally obsesed with trains lol, he won't even go to sleep with-out them! Very cute!

And Achlan is just blowing me out every day, he is soo clever and such a careing sweet boy especially to his little brothers, he if flying though Kinder and now begining to right his name and numbers and he is doing so well at that! I can't belive he is now 4 1/2, where dose the time go???It really dose only feel like yesterday that I was holding him in my arm in the hospital, Glenn and I with tears in our eyes looking at our beautiful boy!

I embrace every day with these beautiful boys cause I know oneday I will just look at them all grown up and they will be too big for kisses and cuddles!

Would have to be my Slow Cooker, being winter here in Australia it has become my best friend!

I Love getting up really early to get things started for dinner, throw it all in the Slowcooker and then over the course of the day the beautiful smells though-out the house! And best of all no stressing at 5pm what I'm going to do for dinner....lol

This is what we had last night

Pork & capsicum hotpot

Preparation Time

20 minutes

Cooking Time

105 minutes

Ingredients (serves 8)

40g (1/4 cup) plain flour
1.4kg piece pork scotch fillet, cut into eight 2cm-thick slices
2 tbs olive oil
3 chorizo sausages, cut into 1.5cm-thick slices
2 red capsicums, halved, deseeded, cut into 2cm pieces
1 green capsicum, halved, deseeded, cut into 2cm pieces
2 red onions, halved, cut into thick wedges
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp saffron threads
1 x 800g can diced tomatoes
375ml (1 1/2 cups) chicken stock
Cooked polenta, to serve
2 tbs fresh oregano leaves

Method

Place the flour on a plate and season with salt and pepper. Add the pork and toss to coat. Shake off any excess.
Heat half the oil in a stockpot or flameproof casserole dish over medium heat. Add the chorizo and cook, stirring occasionally, for 2-3 minutes or until golden. Transfer to a plate. Add half the pork to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes each side or until browned. Transfer to the plate. Repeat with the remaining oil and pork, reheating the pan between batches.
Add combined capsicum and onion to the pan. Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes. Add the garlic, paprika and saffron and cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until aromatic. Stir in tomato and stock.
Add chorizo and pork. Turn to coat. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Uncover. Simmer for 1 hour or until pork is tender and sauce thickens.
Divide the polenta among serving plates and top with the pork mixture. Sprinkle with oregano to serve.

Notes & tips

Here's how to adjust the recipe to your equipment.
In a slow cooker
Note: Reduce the tomatoes to 410g can diced tomatoes. Reduce the stock to 250ml (1 cup) chicken stock.
Carry out steps 1 to 3 in a large frying pan.
In step 4, place the pork, chorizo and capsicum mixture in the slow cooker. Cook, covered, on low for 5 hours. Continue from step 5.

I really wanted to make a post just to say thank-you to all the lovely people that have left such wonderful comments!

What have I been doing apart from running around after my 3 boys, I have finished the HUGE wholesale order (apart from 2 colors which I'm still waiting on coming in) I have made a few more rings. I was lucky enough to get featured on a few Blogs and on the Madeit site.
Which resulted in a few sales. I amd now gone back to working on the notebooks that I started a few months back, still working on the colors and desgin ect. but they seem to becoming along!

This is a new color ring, I just LOVE this color at the moment!

I have been busy making some new rings for the shop I have just made another Hot Pink (first one sold) and then one in Chocolate Brown. I have just ordered in bulk some more ring bases and also a heap of the Brooch backings.

I'm planning on doing my first Market in the next coming weeks, so working on stocking up on brooches and rings and a few notebook. I am soo nervous there is soo much to organize..........

Wow....I have been busy, orders coming in from everywhere, I think I'm starting to have trouble keeping up lol!
My Brooches have been selling like Hot Cakes, I am getting orders for them every week , 20 here, 40 there......I am also hoing my way though the scrapbooking flowers and as well as looking after 3 boys and a house, somethime I just don't know how I manage to fit it all in.......

A few months ago I did some crochet rings, don't know if you remember???? I decided to make up a few more in different colors the other day as I had sold the lasts ones and with-in less than 24 hours i had sold one, very happy about that!
